New horizons in bibliography: the Andean khipu: Dr Medrano studies khipus, knotted-string devices that fulfilled the functions of writing in the prehispanic Andes, whose narrative properties remain little known. He is working to catalogue the remaining khipus in museums and private collections around the world.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Cambridge Bibliographical Society and is taking place in-person at Cripps Court, Magdalene College.
